    “We need more black blood.”

    We have heard this said on television and radio appeals for more Afroic blood donors.

    We think it is totally the wrong terminology for what is undoubtedly a good cause.

    Why oh why does mainstream media persist with using this type of description to reference people of African descent!!! What is who hard in saying something along the lines of “we want more blood donated from people of African descent” It beggars belief that in this day and age were the powers that be have identified that to call an Asian a BROWN person or a native American a RED person that they still insist on colour coding people of African descent!! It’s enough to make you weep at the inconsistency!

    I’m so over it! I never respond to being labelled so incorrectly and neither should you!
